- Loose parts include: one Cap; one Rope (for use when hanging feeder); two #6x3/4 Flathead wood screws (for use when post-mounting feeder).

- Screw cap onto the threaded rod which protrudes through top of roof.

Hanging/Mounting Instructions:

To hang bird feeder:

- Thread looped end of rope through top ring.

- Thread other end of rope through the loop and pull through and up.

To post-mount bird feeder:

(Fig B)

- Place feeder on a 4"x4" wooden post (fits the square inset molded into the bottom of the feeder). [TIP: We recommend pre-drilling 2 small holes in the post to make the next step easier.]

- Using a screwdriver, drive one flathead wood screw (#6x3/4 provided) into one of the indentations in the base of the feeder; then repeat for the indentation on the other side.
