According to Christine Taylor, Dalen’s director of marketing, the website is a comprehensive tool for the consumer. "The new site has been designed to be content-driven so end-users can learn more about our entire product line," said Taylor. "We are pleased to take our Internet communication to this next level." In making the announcement Taylor said, "All of Dalen’s brands, especially the Gardeneer® brand are showcased in a visually beautiful site with a true lawn and garden feel. We wanted our new site to reflect our commitment to outdoor living products – everything from tomato-growing aids to bird watching." The main focus of the website is the Product Section. This easy-to-navigate section includes sub-categories which break down to individual products. Each product page covers features/benefits, usage ideas, warranty information, sizes available, and suggested retail. "How To" information and assembly instructions are available on a pop-up page for further detail on every product. In addition, the website covers Dalen’s history, where to find products, how to use products, frequently asked questions, and a listing of recent press releases. The home page also links to a helpful gardening tip that will change on a regular basis. These tips are offered by Dalen Products founder Neal Caldwell.
