KNOXVILLE, TENN. – Dalen Products celebrated 30 years in business in April 2005 and marked the occasion by officially changing their street address to Dalen Lane. According to company president, David Caldwell, the name change reinforces Dalen’s position in the community and the industry. "We are honored to announce that our 30 year old company now resides at 700 Dalen Lane," said Caldwell. "Awareness and recognition are important to us and this change adds to Dalen being a vital part of the business community." Dalen’s full address is 700 Dalen Lane, Knoxville, TN 37932. The corporate office, production facility, and brand new 121,000 sq. ft. connected warehouse/distribution center will all use this new address. In making the announcement Caldwell added, "Dalen has been blessed with many successes over the past 30 years," said Caldwell. "Several that stand out are the introduction of Weed-X® landscape fabric in 1989 and the introduction of the Gardeneer® brand in 1997, which was our first true branding launch. More recently however, we are most proud of the unprecedented sales and volume growth we’ve experienced over the past four years." Also to commemorate this 30-year milestone, Dalen, a family-owned business, celebrated with a company-wide luncheon hosted by the Caldwell family. Founder Neal Caldwell reflected on the company’s humble beginnings serving mail order garden catalogs, and the remarkable expansion that Dalen has seen over the past three decades through its partnerships with Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Costco, Ace and True Value hardware stores, and others. Knoxville-based Dalen Products is a leading manufacturer of landscape fabrics, garden netting and fencing, scarecrow devices, decorative fencing and edging, birding and other yard and garden products for use by both homeowners and landscapers.
