Nytko comes to Dalen after establishing Sunterra, L.L.C., a division of L.R. Nelson Corporation. Nytko brings a solid background and knowledge of the lawn and garden industry. "Rob’s breadth of experience in all aspects of product development and strategic marketing are a huge asset to the team," said Caldwell. His first initiatives are to expand the already aggressive new product development program, focus on strategic planning and the company’s marketing efforts. John Case, director of operations, joins Dalen from Bolt Industries, where he served as Director of Manufacturing. Much of Case’s career was spent at Proctor & Gamble and involved many facets of manufacturing and packaging operations. His expertise in lean manufacturing, high performance work systems, strategic planning, and training/performance management systems will help Dalen continue to develop and improve operations. The addition of Nancy Taylor, Dalen’s Sales Administration Manager, represents a commitment to further supporting the existing sales network, and achieving unsurpassed customer satisfaction. Taylor’s previous experience in contract sales administration will enhance Dalen’s ability to respond to the changing needs of customers and the industry.
